Sam is an art director based in the Metro Vancouver area of British Columbia.
She is a graduate of the BFA Photography program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Her career began in wedding photography, but she gradually transitioned to art direction as her creative repertoire expanded. She is capable of working in a variety of media such as video, motion graphics/CGI and graphic design, however it is through photography that creative expression comes the most natural to her.
Sam’s work is heavily influenced by the aesthetics and techniques of cinema, with subject matters touching on multiple disciplines ranging from the history of psychiatry, social psychology, anonymity, and time.
